Todd Chrisley recently revealed that the coronavirus had him the sickest he’s ever been in his entire life. TMZ recently picked up on comments from the star in which he revealed he even had to go to the Emergency Room for treatment.
On Wednesday, the Chrisley Knows Best alum announced his diagnosis, stating that he’s been battling COVID-19 for the previous three weeks. On his podcast earlier this week, Christley claimed he was in the hospital for four days.
During the episode, Todd asked, “can we talk about this b*tch called corona?” Todd went on to reveal what battling the coronavirus was like, stating that he had a fever between 100 and 103 degrees and was hoping to recover every day.
Todd went on to say that even though the brunt of the symptoms have passed, he’s still not functioning as well as before. On her Instagram account, Todd’s daughter, Savannah, revealed she and her mother were terrified for his life.
After just a couple of days, they finally convinced him to go to the hospital to receive treatment. When the test came back positive, the medical professionals sent him home to stay in isolation and quarantine.

One morning, Todd woke up and told his wife they had to go to the hospital because he couldn’t deal with it for another day. It’s great to see Todd is doing a lot better, but it appeared to scare his family, including Savannah.
Following her father’s recovery, Savannah took to her social media account to urge her fans and followers to stay home, take care of themselves, and most importantly of all, “love harder than ever.” She stated, “life is so short.”
As most know, this wouldn’t be the first time an entertainment industry figure came down with the coronavirus. Earlier this year, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson announced they tested positive for the respiratory illness. Idris Elba, as well, revealed his diagnosis last month, as did Rachel Matthews, the Frozen 2 star and Colton Underwood.

Echoing what Todd had to say about his symptoms, Underwood claimed the virus hit him particularly hard, despite his age and good health.
