Myles Garrett loves Halloween. The Cleveland Browns defensive end has made headlines in the past for his elaborate home lawn displays, one in particular in which he had tombstones for every QB he's ever sacked. But this year he paid homage to one of his favorite shows: Netflix's Stranger Things.
The three-time Pro Bowl selection showed up to FirstEnergy Stadium in a horrifying outfit, which was all the scarier with his 6-foot 4 270 pound frame: Vecna, the villain from Season 4 of the popular show.
The costume took a lot of dedication from Garrett, as it was a full head to toe suit which rendered him unrecognizable. To add to its originality, it featured Vecna's disfigured appearance from the Upside Down, along with the torn up uniform from the character's work as a helper in the government's secret lab.
Myles Garrett makes Halloween fun every year, and he sure uses his platform to promote it. Last year he was the Grim Reaper. This year, however, his house was also entirely dedicated to Stranger Things. His yard dispay this year trolled Baker Mayfield, as you could see several QBs tied to trees like the corpses found in the Upside Down on Season 4, including the skeleton of the former Browns signal caller.
2022: a year of ups and downs for Myles Garrett
The Browns defensive star has had a rough 2022 with a car crash from which he miraculously didn't suffer significant injuries. After the crash, he vowed to no longer drive in a risky manner and said he was thankful for "a second chance" in life.
On the field, however, Garrett has been as much as a beast as ever. He only trails Packers defensive end Gregory Rousseau (30%) in pass rush-win rates, with 27%. He also has the most QB pressures over the last 3 weeks in the NFL, with 18.
