Fresh from recently releasing ‘Hate How Much I Love You’, his first solo release as a lead artist in four years, Conor Maynard is back with another bop for our enjoyment.

Written by Conor at Geejam Studios in Jamaica with Anth and Aaron Ferrucci, ‘Not Over You’ was released on Friday. It offers a tongue-in-cheek look at the balance between still loving your ex after breaking up with them and feeling bitterness towards them. The witty lyrics are accompanied by an earworm melody and Conor’s soulful vocals which we’ve fallen in love with over the years.

Conor has also unveiled a music video for ‘Not Over You’ which perfectly captured the fun and cheeky essence of the song. Directed by Conor himself, we see his character working at the supermarket, in a bar and working out at the gym. In each scene, he sees his ex with a new partner and comes up with mad cap schemes to get one over on them. However, is everything quite as it seems? You’ll have to watch the video to find out!

Speaking about the track in a press release, Conor stated: “It feels exciting to be able to put out ‘Not Over You’ so soon after ‘Hate How Much I Love You’. I was worried the fans might not like the new material, but their response has been so overwhelming and I feel so lucky to have such loyal fans after all this time. This is only the beginning and I can’t wait for them to hear more!”

Conor’s previous single ‘Hate How Much I Love You’ marked the beginning of a great comeback for the singer-songwriter. With over five million streams on Spotify to date and ‘Best New Pop’ support from Radio 1, there’s no stopping Conor and with the release of ‘Not Over You’, we predict that he will only continue to rise.

Conor will be heading out on his very own UK and European tour later this year. He will visit cities including Stockholm, Berlin, Paris, Manchester, London and Dublin. Full date information and remaining tickets can be found here.

‘Not Over You’ is available to download and stream now.
